‘You must come from hell’ is the response I received after repeatedly declining a complete stranger’s question about where I come from. The illustration is part of my exploration of the representation of refugees and their identity in Sweden. The work aims to touch upon structural apathy towards refugees where accessibility to the refugee's identity is a given right to everyone in society.
